What should I wear to class?

We recommend short shorts or bikini bottoms and a tank or sports bra so your skin can grip the pole. Bare feet or socks are perfect for beginners. For dance-based classes, you’re welcome to wear heels—just check the class description! Click for more in depth first timers info.

What kind of heels do I need?

You’ll want a pair of classic platform stripper heels (like Pleaser or Ellie brand)! Avoid street shoes or anything without ankle support. We recommend starting with 7 inch heels for comfort and safety.

We recommend starting with Like A Virgin and/or Don’t Call Me Baby, our 4 week intro to pole dance series! Is pole dance safe?

Like any movement practice, safety comes both from proper instruction and having an awareness of your body and its limits. Our trained instructors prioritize not only building strength and coordination, but helping you learn and understand the proper techniques to help you progress safely. The why is just as important as the how!

Is there an age or body type requirement?

Nope. Pole dance is for all ages (18+), sizes, and shapes. Different bodies have different needs, but as an incredibly body-diverse studio, we celebrate - and are trained to accommodate - every body.

Are men allowed in class?

Absolutely! We are queer owned and welcome students of all gender-identities and sexual orientations. Our only requirement is no spectators - everyone in class must participate.

Can I drop in or do I need to commit to a membership?

We offer both! You can buy single classes, class packs, or join a membership tier. Memberships come with perks like discounts, priority booking, and access to special events.

Do you do pole sharing?

We do! We have 6 poles and an intimate class size of up to 12 students per class. We believe pole sharing adds to the class experience, not only giving your body time to rest and recover, but more importantly creating an environment of friendliness and camaraderie amongst our student base. If you’d like your own dedicated pole, you are welcome to use 2 class credits, just reach out at least 12 hours before class and we’ll charge your account for an additional spot!

I’m nervous. What if I feel awkward?

Welcome to the club! Many students feel shy, self-conscious, or insecure at first. It’s totally normal - trying something new is vulnerable! Our space is private, supportive, judgment-free, and designed to help you build confidence at your own pace.
